7th Urban Sketching in Tsuen Wan
Last year, I joined a guided tour about the Tsuen Wan women workers’ exhibition at The Mills, Hong Kong, and I noticed that the Hong Kong Women Workers’ Association (another exhibition venue, just a 15-minute walk from The Mills) is located in Yi Pei Square, serving the community unexpectedly.
This time, I decided to skip the easily accessible flyovers and walk through Fuk Loi Estate and Lo Tak Court to my destination, Yi Pei Square, for some urban sketching. The outcome was quite poetic!

初次來到翻新後的二陂坊遊樂場，是去年底在南豐紗廠的「眾裡荃灣姐妹節」導賞，欣賞展覽、聆聽新市鎮的女工故事，還大伙兒用走的來到了隱沒在二陂坊的另一展覽場地——香港婦女勞工協會（離紗廠15分鐘路程）。這個讓區外人卻步的地方，竟然有組織在這進行社區服務，讓我萌生起下次要來二陂坊寫生的念頭。
與去年一樣，我沒有走上便利的天橋，實實在在地在地上走著，才不會錯過街上有趣的風景。從福來邨、路德圍慢慢走到我的目的地二陂坊，而我好像把它畫得過分詩意了。
